India has brought nearly 90% of its women into the banking system — but bank accounts alone don’t build wealth. The Lxme-EY report reveals that Indian women score just 28.1 out of 100 on financial prosperity, with only 8.6% investing in mutual funds or equities, and retirement wealth trailing men’s by 40%.
